Commission Painting

Would you like to have your pet, a memory from your holiday, or your special place painted as an artwork? I would be happy to create this for you.

How does a painting commission work?

You contact me by phone, email, or via the contact form with your idea. We talk about the project together and clarify what is needed. Then we look for good and usable reference photos. Either you already have one, or I take the photos myself with my camera. After that, the actual painting process begins. As soon as the painting is finished, I will inform you. If possible, the artwork will be handed over to you personally.
At the moment, payment is only possible in cash.

What is important to me in a painting commission?

- Please do not have a very fixed idea of how the final painting must look. Every painting is different, and during the process the artwork partly develops on its own.

- The whole process, from the idea to the finished painting, can take some time. If you need the painting for a specific date (for example as a gift), please plan enough time. This means about 2–3 months.

- The reference photo must be allowed to be used legally.

- The reference photo must be good quality – this means high resolution and good contrast. In the end, however, I must decide myself if the photo is suitable or not.
